Yon Jiménez
I was born in Colombia, but I currently live in Australia. I am an Industrial Engineer by training and hold a Master's degree in Project Management.
Like any other human being, I have won, I have lost, I have laughed, I have cried, I have failed, and I have felt frustrated — yet I keep fighting to reach my goals and dreams.
I started writing as a kind of therapy that helped me calm my mind and my worries. Over time, however, writing stopped being just a personal, fun, and relaxing pastime and became a source of energy that constantly renews me.
The ideas took shape and gave life to the series «The Curse of the Sword», with its first book «The Story of Dalom» and its second part, «The Victory of Desperation». They also inspired a couple of film scripts: «La Ruptura» and «Oliver Smith, the Living Legend». And, after much back and forth, budget problems, and other small obstacles, we published the English translation of the first book, «The Curse of the Sword: The Story of Dalom».
